A Catholic school education is more affordable than you may think.

St. Joseph the Worker School recognizes the sacrifices families make to provide a faith-based education for their children. Each year, scholarships are awarded to families who demonstrate financial need through our application process.

To ensure a fair and consistent review, St. Joseph the Worker School partners with Simple Tuition Solutions (STS) to determine scholarship eligibility. The STS application is completed online, free of charge, and all families are encouraged to apply.

Please see below for a step-by-step guide to the application process.

 

To complete the STS Scholarship Application, please follow these six simple steps:

  1. Visit the Simple Tuition Solutions website.
    If prompted to enter a school or scholarship organization code, enter: 20377.

  2. Log in or register.
    If you already have an STS account, click “Sign In” and enter your login information.
    If you do not have an account, click “Register” to create one.

  3. Start a new application.
    After logging in, select “Start a New Application.” Be sure to choose the correct school year for which you are applying for financial assistance.
    Note: You may include all of your students on one application, even if they attend different private schools.

  4. Complete the 8-step application process.
    The application includes eight steps, including the payment step. Each section saves automatically as you move forward. You may use the toolbar at the top of the page to return to previous sections and make edits.
    Please note: Once you upload your required financial documents, the application will lock and cannot be edited.

  5. Submit payment and upload required documents.
    After completing the payment step, you will receive instructions regarding which financial documents are required. You will also receive an email introducing the STS processor assigned to your application.

You may upload documents directly through the STS portal by scanning or taking a photo. This is the fastest method.

If changes are needed after submission, contact STS at support@simpletuitionsolutions.org or call 717-599-7611 (option 1).

  1. Application review and notification.
    Once all required documents are received, STS will verify your information and review your application in accordance with Pennsylvania state guidelines. You will be notified directly by email when the review process is complete. The results will also be shared with St. Joseph the Worker School or any associated scholarship organization.

Please note: STS is contracted solely to verify information and determine eligibility. STS does not make scholarship award decisions. Final award decisions are made by the school or scholarship organization.
